About NC Youth Soccer

The NC Youth Soccer Association was created in 1976 as the governing body of soccer in North Carolina for the US Youth Soccer Association. NC Youth Soccer is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.

NCYSA is governed by a Board of Directors (who meet semi-annually) - representing each member association - as well as an elected Executive Board that will do the business of the Board of Directors between BOD Meetings.

NC Youth Soccer offers levels of play for Recreation and Competitive (Classic, Challenge), as well as the NCYSA Youth Academy. We offer coaching, player and parent education through in-house programs, as well as certified licensure from US Soccer and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

NCYSA administers, staffs and implements an Olympic Development Program, helping to identify players for Regional and National Pool and Team inclusion.

NCYSA conducts a Risk Management Program that includes background checks on all coaches, referees, trainers and volunteers.

The NCYSA State Office is located in Greensboro.
