Welcome to the Recreation Webpage. This guide was the result of the collaborative effort of the Recreation Focus Group. The links on the side provide information and examples for you to use as a resource in creating or improving your recreation programs. Many of the examples used throughout the page are taken from member associations. You can use them to generate ideas that will meet the needs of your own association.
General Information
Recreation associations must follow the guidelines of play established for US Youth Soccer and the NC Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA). These guidelines are provided by the NCYSA, who also provides recommendations for the establishment of association bylaws. It is a great idea for all associations to establish a club philosophy and create a mission statement that can guide members. Examples of association mission statements will be provided shortly.
NC Association Map
The NC Association Map was created as a means for members to easily view all associations in the state. The map provides locations, directions, contact information, and a link to every association's website.

Important
The deadline to renew association membership in NCYSA is May 1st and a late fee fine ($1000) is imposed on June 1st . Renewal information can be found here.
