Keen to
build on the success of its
inaugural year, NCASA is pleased to announce the
details for the 2010 Champions League Cup
tournament. This exciting tournament breaks barriers and takes
Men's Adult Soccer into a whole new arena for
the association.
Eleven teams
entered the tournament in its inaugural year
representing five different leagues: TASL, WNC,
LHFNC, ECOS, and LFNC. The
competition had a series of excellent
matches in 2009 and promises more for 2010.
PRIZES:
Champions -
Trophy, $750 & a new set of uniforms
Finalist - Trophy and $250

Divisions of Play:
Men’s Open with a maximum of 16 teams.
Format of Play:
Single elimination event with four (4) rounds of
matches played. One round will be played per
match day.
Entry Costs:
$250 per team,
plus half the match fees for a crew of four (4)
referees in only the first two (2) rounds. Any
team that does not advance to the second round
and is in good standing with the tournament will
have up to half their entry fee ($125 maximum)
refunded. The semifinals and finals would not
incur any further costs to the teams.

have submitted their completed application, fees
and initial player pool roster to the office of
NC Adult Soccer.
Roster Freeze:
Rosters and player registrations would freeze
seven (7) days prior to scheduled matches of
upcoming round. If rounds are scheduled for
consecutive days, then the roster freeze date
for both rounds will be the earlier freeze date
of those consecutive rounds. There is a roster
maximum of 22 players.

Player Pool
(Roster) Requirements:
All participating players are required to have a
current and valid player pass complete with
photo, signature and fully laminated at the time
of each match. Players can only register to one
(1) participating team and remain rostered to
their initial team once eliminated. Players
cannot transfer or multiple register to another
participating team that has advanced. All
players must be registered to the team on which
they are participating. Guest player status is
forbidden. Amateur reinstatements and
international clearances are not required for
foreign born and/or professional status
players. Out of state registered players are
not permitted to participate in the event.
