On behalf of NC Adult Soccer and all the team that participated in the 2007 NC Adult State Cup in Asheville, we'd like to thank ABYSA and ABASA for all their help in making the event a huge success and wonderfully enjoyable event.  Special thanks also go out to all the referees who participated in the competition and gave their best to keep the matches fun, fair and safe as much as possible.

To note, the staff at NCASA would like to publicly thank Mike Rottjakob, James Usedom, Jack Brown, Schell & Pete Alexander, Jason ReMine, Tate McQueen, Bob & Margaret Kepner, Sam & Brenda Brubaker, Bill Sweeney, Carrie Powell, Amanda Taylor, John Bouda, Daniel Burak, Dan Adams, Bo Haeberle and Darius Ejlali, as well as our partners Eurosport, SunCom and all the teams and participants from Asheville for their efforts in making the event as smooth as possible in organizing and running!  It really could not have been done without their help.

TEAM BONDS:  NCASA will refund team performance bonds in accordance with the RULES as provided during team check-in and/or the captains meeting.  They will be mailed within 30 days after the tournament, barring any violation of State Cup rules and requirements. 

The number of matches played in each division depended entirely on the number of applications received by the deadline and the number of fields available.  Bracket play was devised consistent with the tournament rules, logistics of the fields and match times, and to the best of our ability equity of play.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

> Coed - The division played with 3 teams.  Friday's match was changed to 6pm.

> Men's Over 30 - A team was dropped from the schedule to a new total of 13.  The division played with 3 groups, in brackets of 4, 4 and 5.  The 2 groups of 4 played to one finalist, the the group of 5 played to the other finalist.  The final is TBD.

> Women's Over 30 - The division played with 3 teams.  Local match has been scheduled for two Raleigh teams, and their Saturday late match has been moved to an earlier timeframe to accommodate captain's and players request.  Consequently, the 2pm match was moved to Memorial Stadium.

> Men's Over 40 - This division played with 8 teams

> Men's Over 50 - This division played with 6 teams
