Under 19 State Cup Information

2008-09 USYS NCYSA STATE CUP - UNDER 19 DIVISIONS

Each team must fill out an online application and pay the appropriate fees by April 10, 2009.  That application must be filled out completely, signed by your team official.

You must have a minimum of seven (7) players by April 3, and that information must be sent to the NCYSA State Office, postmarked by April 3.

Your local association President (or designee) must give written permission for your team to participate. They may email Ryan Scarborough with that permission.

Payment online or a team check/association check/money order in the amount of $75.00 is for entry into the Cup. A  $200.00 (team bond) must also be include. Teams will get the bond money back, upon completion and fulfillment of playing obligations. Fees may be included in one check OR they may include the bond in a separate team check/association check and it will be returned at the Cup. Your team pays for the referees for your play.

 

Online Entry Deadline: April 10, 2009. By participating in these games, your team agrees to proceed to Regional Play - June 18-24, 200, should they win their age division. NCYSA has paid the entry fees to Region III for our U19’s to participate in that event.

Please read the U19 State Cup Information carefully. This info explains roster freeze dates and other important information.

Please read the scheduling scenarios carefully. They explain how the U19 brackets will play. Dates of play could be as early as  May 8-10 (Cup Prelim Site)  and/or May 15-17 at the site of the State Cup Finals (Greensboro).  Should scenarios occur other than those listed (8 teams for example), then NCYSA will appropriately schedule games, in the manner most fair to the teams involved, based on the number of fields available.

 

IMPORTANT  INFORMATION

Teams must have their universities complete and sign the College Player Form giving any college athletes on their team permission to participate in these competitions. A letter is also available for their information.

 

All teams must read the NCYSA Discipline and Appeals brochure and be aware of it’s contents and of the ramifications of improper behavior.
