March 24, 2022 - Fearless & Capable is proud to announce the newest organization partner, North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA). The state association has been actively working to support minorities through their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Fearless & Capable will provide the opportunity for meaningful mentorship from women working across the country to the female coaches, referees, and administrators in North Carolina. Women will be able to join the growing Fearless & Capable membership program, and explore one-on-one mentoring sessions with a trained mentor to expand on the capabilities they each uniquely hold.

Kathy Robinson, Executive Director of North Carolina Youth Soccer Association, commented,
“At NCYSA, we understand that our position grants us the opportunity and privilege to support the physical, mental, and emotional needs of all our members. Our newly formed DE&I Committee strives to make a lasting impact in North Carolina by uniting our soccer community through education and the establishment or expansion of programs and offerings. Fearless & Capable is a PERFECT fit to help NCYSA focus on the development and promotion of our female members both on and off the field who make the game of soccer what it is in our state. We believe in Candice and the vision of F&C and can’t wait to work together to empower females in NC, celebrate each other’s growth and create real change.”
Keri Jones, the Administrative Technical Director and NCYSA DE&I Committee Co-chair, added,
“I have heard Candice present several times and then had the privilege of meeting her in person a few months back. After hearing her passion for empowering females and all that Fearless & Capable has to offer, I joined myself! I have already met so many awesome women both in and out of NC who want to make each other better. I strongly believe that representation matters; when something is visible, one can see something they want to believe in. The F&C community is unparalleled in that pursuit for females in and around sport.”
Fearless & Capable owner, Candice Fabry, stated,
“North Carolina Youth Soccer Association and its DE&I Committee initiative is in great alignment to the Fearless & Capable programming. The state’s actions to positively impact the experience of minorities will continue to raise and give opportunities to women working across North Carolina.. I sincerely thank Kathy, Keri, and the entire NCYSA staff for the opportunity to assist with the mentoring aspects of this increasingly important initiative.”
