BRAND & LOGO STANDARDS
Colors, type, logo use, and what the website needs from a graphic.
The full brand template is in development. Until it lands, these are the standards to follow for anything carrying the NCYSA name.
Colors
Core Palette
- Navy — #10045A primary, backgrounds and headlines
- Red — #B82F2F accents, buttons, calls to action
- Gold — #EDC32C highlights and the anniversary mark
- Cream — #F9F7F7 page backgrounds
Type
Website
- Bebas Neue — headlines and titles, always uppercase
- Source Sans 3 — body copy, buttons, and labels
Logo Use
Rules
- Use the highest resolution file available. Never a screenshot.
- PNG with a transparent background for anything on a colored field.
- Leave clear space around the mark. Do not crowd it with text.
- Do not recolor, stretch, rotate, or add effects to the logo.
50th Anniversary Mark
- Reserved for official governance and meeting materials.
- Dated 1976–2026. It retires at the end of the anniversary year.
- Do not substitute it for the standard NCYSA logo on general materials.
Graphics for the Website
Before You Send
- Send the full-size file, not a screenshot or an email attachment preview.
- Tiles are portrait. Keep the bottom quarter clear, a navy fade and a label sit there.
- Banners are wide. Keep the important content centered.
- Text-heavy graphics get cropped hard inside a card. Those work better as a full-width placement, so mention it when you send one.
- Give files a plain, descriptive name so they are easy to find again later.
Coming soon: a full brand template with ready-made layouts for social, flyers, and web graphics. Until it lands, matching what is already live on the site is a safe guide.
