NOTIFICATION TO TRAVEL (NTT)
Required forms for teams attending tournaments outside NC or non-USYS sanctioned events.
NTT applications are closed for the 2025–26 season. The process for the 2026–27 season is as follows:
- You must be a Team Admin in PlayMetrics to request a Notification to Travel form. If you are not sure, please contact your club’s Head Registrar.
- Go to PlayMetrics.com and log in.
- From the left column, select Teams, then Travel Rosters.
- From there, answer the questions as prompted. Be especially careful to select the correct state for the tournament or event you are attending.
- When you are done with the questionnaire, you will be prompted to pay the $15 fee. If you do not see a payment prompt, please contact Lisa Nellis.
- You may then print or save the form to upload with your other required tournament paperwork.

Teams must complete a Notification to Travel (NTT) form if:
1. USYS Sanctioned Tournament (Out of State)
The team will attend a USYS sanctioned tournament sanctioned by an out of state member of US Youth Soccer. (i.e. SC Youth Soccer, VA Youth Soccer, etc.)
NOTE: NTT is not required for an NCYSA sanctioned tournament which may play some of its games in SC.
2. Non-USYS Sanctioned Tournament/Event
The team will attend a non-USYS sanctioned tournament/event, both within and outside of North Carolina. These may be sanctioned by US Club, SAY, AYSO, or USSSA. Keep in mind:
a. NCYSA passes, rosters, and med waivers are not to be used for a non-USYS sanctioned tournament. The team will complete form to receive the Team Information Page which is used in place of passes, rosters, and med waivers.
b. The supplemental insurance that players receive as a part of their NCYSA registration is NOT valid for non-USYS sanctioned tournaments.
This includes tournaments, scrimmages, friendlies, or league play in an out of state league.
The team representative must confirm whether the tournament is a USYS sanctioned or non-USYS sanctioned tournament and complete the correct NTT form. This information can be found on the tournament’s website under Permission/Application to Host or by contacting the tournament director. Information from the Permission to Host is also needed to complete the NTT. Make sure the Permission to Host is for the current seasonal year!
Fees
$15 for USYS sanctioned tournaments if out of state.
$15 for a document for NON-USYS sanctioned tournaments, either in-state or out of state.
No refunds will be given for Notification to Travel fees if tournament is cancelled, the team chooses to withdraw from tournament, or the incorrect form is completed.
NOTE: For foreign travel (outside of US 50 states), the process MUST be completed through US Soccer Federation and begin no later than 45 days prior to departure. Click International Travel below for requirements from US Soccer Federation.
For tournaments occurring Aug. 1, 2026 or after, make sure you select the 2026-27 seasonal year.
