The North Carolina ODP program participates in several Events during the ODP Year.
ODP Friendlies Events
The ODP Friendlies Events provide an opportunity to play games against the other players within your ODP age group or within other NC ODP age groups. These events serve as an opportunity to compete and be evaluated within the competition setting amongst other players in your age group. These events are in-house and consist of NC ODP players/teams only.
ODP Subregional Events
The ODP Subregional Events provide an opportunity to play games against ODP teams from other states. This is an opportunity to compete and be evaluated within the competition setting. ODP teams from throughout the East and South traditionally attend the Subregional Events in our area.
South Region ODP Camp
The South Region ODP camp has traditionally been the culminating activity during the ODP cycle. Players are scouted & evaluated through by both NC ODP Staff and South Region ODP Staff during ODP Trainings and Events. Selected players will receive an invitation to the South Region ODP Camp to compete with the top ODP players from throughout the South Region. Following camp, a South Regional Pool will be created in each Age Group and those players are eligible to be selected for Regional and National ODP Events.
