NCYSA will sanction events and tournaments that are hosted and sponsored by its member associations. There are several criteria that must be met. Please go to Hosting an Event for details.

A Notification to Travel is needed by USYS teams when traveling out-of-state to other Sanctioned Events and Tournaments, or attending a non-USYS Sanctioned tournament, both in state or out of state.
For non-USYS tournaments, the Notification to Travel will provide the team with the Team Information Page which is used in lieu of NCYSA passes, rosters, and waivers.
You do NOT need a Notification to Travel for:
- NCYSA State Cup Games
- In-State NCYSA Sanctioned Tournaments
- USYS Regionals/Nationals
- Presidents Cup Regionals/Nationals
- NLPC
- National League
Our team may be traveling out of the country? What is needed?
The NCYSA team must apply for foreign travel with US Soccer at least 45 days prior to departure. NCYSA requires a copy of US Soccer’s approval before departing on the trip.
